What is Aesthetic Surgery?
Aesthetic Surgery commonly known as Cosmetic surgery is the art of surgery where surgical procedures are used to enhance or improve the look of a person.
What is Rhinoplasty ?
Rhinoplasty is the method by which the shape of the nose is changed to a more desirable one. The commonly done procedures are reduction of hump, augmenting the dorsum, tip plasty etc. These procedures may involve using tissues from other parts of the body like cartilage from the septum, ear, ribs or bone from the hip , etc.
What is Liposuction ?
Liposuction is a procedure where in fat is removed from the body using fine canulas. The procedure can be done under local anaesthesia or general anaesthesia. Fat can be removed from any part of the body where he fat is excess.
Following surgery one is usually expected to wear a pressure garment for better results.
What is Abdominoplasty ?
Abdominoplasty ( Tummy tuck) is a surgical procedure where in excess fat and skin from the abdomen is removed to give a more pleasing contour to the abdomen. During this surgery the abdominal wall is restructured or strengthened with stitches or in some cases with a synthetic mesh. This can be combined with other surgical procedures like incisonal hernia repair, gynaecological procedures etc.
What is Body contouring surgery ?
This is a combination process of surgery, liposuction and lipoinjection. Here excess skin and fat is removed, liposuction is used to remove excess fat ans in some cases fat grafting is done to contour different parts to gicve the body a more youthful look.

What is Botox ?
Botox is a deravitive of Boutulinum toxin which temporarily paralyses the muscles it is injected into. This is used to treat wrinkles on the face especially crow’s feet around the eyes, frown lines around the glabella, forehead crease lines etc. Its effects are temporary and last for around four to six months

These are chemical agents that are sued to peel of the superficial layer of the skin. These are used to rejuvenate the face . Many different formulations are available, each having heir own indications.
What are Scar revisions ?
Scar revisions are procedures that are done to make a scar less prominent. Though a scar can never be removed permanently, there are many techhniques in plastic surgery that can improve, hide or mask a scar to a great extent. These scar revisons are generally accompanied by various forms of scar therapy like using ointments, gel sheets compression etc to improve the quality of healing.

Dermabrasion is a technique that is used to to smooth out contour deformities like those caused by acne or trauma. This involves removing of the superficial layers of the skin and then letting the skin to heal secondarily to leave a more smooth surface. The effects of this procedure are permanent.

Breast Augmentation is a process were in the natural breasts are enhanced to appear bigger. This is done using breast implants made of silicone. The effects are long lasting. The implant is placed with a small incision. The site of the incison may be in the breast fold, axilla, areola or the umblicus depending on the patient’s choice.

Breast reduction is a process to reduce the size of the breast surgically. The size to which the breast is reduced depends on the choice of the patient. There will be a fine line of surgery which is from the areola to the infra mammary fold which fades away with time.

Hair transplant is a procedure done to treat baldness. Hair follicles from one’s own scalp are transplanted the bald area to give a natural look and feel.
